UFO Irrelevance?
Life is too busy to think about aliens...
Someone recently told me UFO were of little interest because they had no impact on everyday life.
Fair enough I thought. Then I wondered...
No impact? Or is this about an inability to perceive the impact?
In what ways might UFO/UAP and non-human intelligences (NHI) shape our everyday lives?
If we explore the impact of decades of UAP/NHI secrecy and taboo it becomes clear that it has
1. effectively obscured the presence of UAP/NHI (the subject of much UAP/NHI public discourse) and
2. obscured their broader impact on society, culture, and consciousness.
This intentional and unintentional obfuscation means that phenomena that might have been attributed to UAP/NHI influences – technological anomalies, cultural shifts, or even certain psychological experiences – were either dismissed, misattributed, or rendered invisible in mainstream discourse.
Thus the veil of secrecy may have three profound implications:
Suppression of Experiential Knowledge: Individuals who have had direct or indirect encounters often face ridicule, skepticism, or self-doubt, leading to suppressed testimonies and fragmented community-building among experiencers. This erodes a collective understanding that could have contributed to more holistic interpretations of the phenomenon.
Cultural Amnesia and Misattribution: Historical events, technological inspirations, or collective psychological shifts influenced by UAP/NHI may have been culturally repressed or rebranded under different narratives. This creates a kind of cultural amnesia where the true roots of certain advancements or societal changes remain hidden.
Partial Understanding of Reality and Human Potential: Our ability to effectively address current global and existential challenges may be limited due to a partial or fragmented understanding of reality and human potential. Humanity’s restricted awareness likely constrains its capacity to solve complex, multi-layered challenges.
The above might be summarised as follows:
So, are UFO irrelevant to everyday life?
Perhaps for some - in the sense that there's unlikely to be any dramatic change in our lives today or tomorrow. The changes have already happened. There are likely many aspects of our lives that exist, and others that don't exist, due to the UAP/NHI multilayered realities and relationships which are currently obscured.
Probably not for others - if one is a UFO experiencer, or is exploring their existential consequences, or following UAP disclosure and discovery, or wanting a better understanding of reality and human potential, or attempting to understand the evolution of civilisation, or interested in global trends and possible futures...
This post is based on a more detailed discussion.
